A murder mystery game is best played as part of a meal, although this is not essential. The object of the game is to solve the clues hidden in the evidence and to discover who is the murderer. Each person plays the part of one of the characters in the script and the game is played over a number of rounds. All the players have a number of facts that they reveal during the course of the game in response to questions asked by the other players. There are also secret clues that often help to reveal the true identity of the murderer.
